Bob Hetz always had a passion for classic wooden boats, owning and restoring several. In 2011 Bob became a grandparent for the first time, and for his grandson's first Christmas he set out to make a rocking boat modeled after his 1955 Capri.
At the urging of family and friends Bob started Wooden Boat Creations LLC, and worked on designing additional nautical gifts and décor items. Word continues to spread about the quality handcrafted items created by Wooden Boat Creations as you can find them in luxury resorts, homes and cottages around the world.
